NDCXL – Cyclo-cross Age Categories 2011/12 Season

For the 2011-2012 season the following age categories will apply in NDCXL cyclo-cross events (effective from 1st September 2011):

Under 9* born in 2003 or later
Under 12 born in 2000 or later
Youth born 1996 to 1999
Youth – Under 14 born 1998 or 1999
Junior born 1994 or 1995
Senior born 1993 or earlier
Under 23 born 1990 to 1993
Women born 1995 or earlier**
Veteran born 1971 or earlier
Veteran 40 – 49 born 1962 to 1971
Veteran 50+ born 1961 or earlier
Vet 40 born 1967 to 1971
Vet 45 born 1962 to 1966
Vet 50 born 1957 to 1961
Vet 55 born 1952 to 1956
Vet 60 born 1947 to 1951
Vet 65 born 1942 to 1946
Vet 70+ born 1941 or earlier

Not all categories are recognised at all events.

* NDCXL events recognise an U9 category – NOT U10
** Races for Women are open to Junior, Under 23, Senior and Veteran Women.
