NDCXL – Cyclo-cross Age Categories 2013-14 Season

For the 2013-2014 season the following age categories will apply in NDCXL cyclo-cross events (effective from 1st September 2013):

Under 9* born in 2005 or later
Under 12 born in 2002 or later
Youth born 1998 to 2001
Youth – Under 14 born 2000 or 2001
Junior born 1996 or 1997
Senior born 1995 or earlier
Under 23 born 1992 to 1995
Women born 1997 or earlier**
Veteran born 1973 or earlier
Veteran 40 – 49 born 1964 to 1973
Veteran 50+ born 1963 or earlier
Vet 40 born 1969 to 1973
Vet 45 born 1964 to 1968
Vet 50 born 1959 to 1963
Vet 55 born 1954 to 1958
Vet 60 born 1949 to 1953
Vet 65 born 1944 to 1948
Vet 70+ born 1943 or earlier

Not all categories are recognised at all events.

* NDCXL events recognise an U9 category – NOT U10
** Races for Women are open to Junior, Under 23, Senior and Veteran Women.
